Methodology
How this guide is researched and compared
Last updated:
Every fact on this site comes from Lannister Mining's own published materials or from a named public source linked on the page.
Lannister Mining writes this guide. Basin Gulch figures are stated exactly as the company publishes them, industry statistics are quoted with their source and full conditions, and companies are compared on the same criteria with the same kinds of facts. Historical drill data is labeled as historical, not as a resource.
How does this site compare companies fairly?
Each company on the comparison page is described on four criteria: stage, location, main asset and latest published figure, with a link to the source of that figure. Entries are ordered from largest producer to earliest-stage explorer, and each gets a short reason for its position. We do not score or rate companies, and we do not describe competitors' weaknesses.
Procedure
How a fact gets onto this site
Find a public source
Company materials for Basin Gulch; named publications for everything else.
Quote it exactly
Numbers keep their units, ranges and conditions; nothing is rounded to look better.
Date it
Figures carry their year or period, and each page shows a Last updated date.
Link it
The source is named and linked next to the figure where practical.
Label historical data
Basin Gulch drill results are historical exploration data, not a resource.

What this guide does not do
It does not give investment advice, forecast prices or promise exploration results. It does not present historical drill intercepts as a mineral resource. For complete technical and corporate information, read Lannister Mining's disclosures on lannistermining.com.

Who publishes this site?
Lannister Mining publishes this site. It is one of a small number of websites the company publishes, and it focuses on mineral exploration in Montana, the Philipsburg Mining District and the Basin Gulch property. The company main website is lannistermining.com, where you will find investor presentations and corporate information.
How current is the information on this site?
Each page shows a Last updated date near the top, and this edition was updated in November 2026. Figures about Basin Gulch come from Lannister Mining published materials. Industry figures come from named public sources such as PwC and USGS summaries. Check lannistermining.com for the latest company news.
What are the top gold exploration companies?
There is no single official ranking; the right answer depends on stage, jurisdiction and what exposure you want. Our comparison page sets four companies side by side on the same criteria, from early-stage explorers like Lannister Mining to large producers like Nevada Gold Mines, and explains how each was chosen.
Is this site investment advice?
No. This site explains mineral exploration and summarizes public facts about the Basin Gulch property and its setting. It does not recommend buying or selling any security. Exploration investments are high risk; read the company technical disclosures and investor materials in full, and consider speaking with a licensed financial adviser.
How do you evaluate a gold exploration company?
Look at five things: the quality of drill results, the size and security of the land position, the jurisdiction, the stage of work and the team track record. For Basin Gulch, Lannister Mining cites more than 320 historical drill holes, 1,107 hectares of claims, a Montana location and a team linked to K92 Mining and Thesis Gold.
